The Saudi Red Crescent Authority (SRCA) in Al-Qassim region concluded today, Thursday (30 Rajab), the first phase of the “School Rescuer” project, implemented in cooperation with the Al-Qassim Education Department. The project is being delivered in two phases, each lasting five days, to meet the needs of the local education sector. It aims to qualify educational staff to become certified trainers in the “Ambassador of Life” first aid program within their school environments.
The second phase is scheduled to launch on Sunday, 3 Shaaban 1446 AH. It will include theoretical lectures and hands-on training sessions, during which participants will undergo evaluations and assessments under the supervision of SRCA’s Training and Community Awareness Department in Al-Qassim. Participants who successfully complete the course will receive official certification from the Authority.
The central trainer program is designed to empower educational professionals to deliver “Ambassador of Life” first aid training in schools and educational complexes across various academic levels. The goal is to ensure the effective dissemination of first aid knowledge and emergency response skills within school settings, contributing to the safety of both students and teachers.
Mr. Khalid bin Saleh Al-Khudur, Director General of SRCA’s Al-Qassim branch, emphasized that this initiative represents a key step in promoting health and emergency awareness in the educational environment. It aims to foster a safe and responsive school atmosphere, helping to protect lives across the educational community. The training is led by a group of qualified male and female instructors from the SRCA’s Training and Community Awareness Department in the region, in support of localizing and sustaining first aid training programs.
