The Director General of the Saudi Red Crescent Authority branch in Asir, Mr. Mohammed bin Abdullah Al-Shehri, launched the “Central Trainer” program in the presence of the Director General of Education in the region, Mr. Fahad Aqala, at the Community Training and Awareness Department of the branch.
The program aims to qualify 53 male and female teachers to become certified trainers in the “Life Ambassador” first aid program, enabling them to conduct training courses inside schools and spread the principles of first aid for handling emergency cases.
The training program lasts for five days weekly, totaling 25 training hours combining theoretical lectures and practical applications. Participants undergo assessments and tests.
The program is supervised by trainers from the Saudi Red Crescent branch in Asir, and successful participants receive an accredited certificate from the authority.
This program is part of the Saudi Red Crescent Authority’s efforts to enhance health and first aid awareness in the educational environment and contribute to providing a safe school environment that protects the lives of students and the school community in the Asir region.
