


Dr. Khalid bin Radi Al-Anzi, Director General of the Saudi Red Crescent Authority in the Eastern Region, received His Excellency the Egyptian Consul in Riyadh, Tarek Al-Meligy, accompanied by a delegation of officials from the Embassy of the Arab Republic of Egypt, at the Authority’s headquarters in the Eastern Region on Wednesday, January 22, 2025.
During the meeting, Dr. Khalid Al-Anzi warmly welcomed the Egyptian Consul and his accompanying delegation, praising their efforts to strengthen the bonds of brotherhood between the two sister peoples. He wished them success in their responsibilities in the Kingdom.
The meeting included discussions on topics of mutual interest, and the Consul was briefed on the emergency medical services provided by the Authority to community members, including citizens, residents, and the Egyptian expatriate community in the Eastern Region.
Subsequently, His Excellency visited the training center in the Eastern Region, where he reviewed the training programs offered by the Authority, the simulation center, and the achievements of the training initiatives in the Eastern Region. He also toured the advanced emergency vehicles equipped with the latest medical technologies to accelerate response times and reduce emergency response durations in various urgent situations.
Consul Tarek Al-Meligy expressed his admiration for the advanced technologies and the humanitarian emergency medical services provided by the Saudi Red Crescent Authority, commending the significant development achieved across all levels. He extended his thanks for the warm reception and hospitality. Likewise, Dr. Al-Anzi expressed his gratitude to the Consul and his delegation for their kind visit and this thoughtful initiative.
