As part of its efforts to support environmental sustainability and raise environmental awareness, the Saudi Red Crescent Authority, represented by the Volunteer Department, launched the “Green Al-Baha” initiative in Al-Mandaq Governorate in cooperation with the local municipality.

The initiative saw the active participation of 18 volunteers from the Authority’s volunteer team, who contributed effectively to activities aimed at increasing green cover and promoting sustainable environmental practices that serve environmental development goals.

The Saudi Red Crescent Authority expressed its sincere thanks and appreciation to the Al-Mandaq Municipality for its fruitful cooperation and continuous support, which was reflected in facilitating procedures and contributing to the success of the initiative and the achievement of its objectives.

This initiative is part of efforts to enhance community partnerships supporting Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030, which aims to achieve sustainable development and preserve natural resources.

The Authority affirmed its commitment to continuing to launch and implement environmental and social initiatives that contribute to spreading the culture of sustainability and enhancing social responsibility for the benefit of the community and the environment.
