His Royal Highness Prince Jalawi bin Abdulaziz bin Musaed, Governor of Najran Region, witnessed today at the Emirate headquarters the signing of five memoranda of understanding between the Saudi Red Crescent Authority (SRCA) in the region and the Emirate of Najran, Najran University, the Najran Municipality, Najran Specialized Hospital, and Shifa Najran Specialized Hospital.

HRH emphasized the importance of forming and activating these partnerships in the areas of training, qualification, and workforce development to contribute to improved performance and enhanced service delivery.

The MoUs aim to strengthen community partnerships in training and development, promote the principles of first aid, support scientific research, and enhance human capital to elevate the quality of services provided to beneficiaries.

The first MoU was signed on behalf of SRCA Najran by Mr. Mohammed bin Ali Al-Asiri, and on behalf of the Emirate by Dr. Malfi Abdulrahman Al-Otaibi, Deputy Governor of Najran. The second was signed by Prof. Abdulrahman bin Ibrahim Al-Khudairi for Najran University; the third by Eng. Saleh bin Ghurmallah Al-Ghamdi for Najran Municipality; the fourth by Mr. Ali bin Nasser Al-Qadhi for Najran Specialized Hospital; and the fifth by Eng. Hammadi Misfer Anqais for Shifa Najran Specialized Hospital.

The agreements also include proposing research topics and academic program areas, providing lists of training and educational programs, participating in various public events to promote the services of SRCA and raise awareness of its roles, as well as supporting training initiatives and the promotion of automated external defibrillator (AED) deployment.
