The Saudi Red Crescent Authority (SRCA) is participating in the Hajj and Umrah Services Conference and Exhibition held at Jeddah Superdome from January 13 to 16, 2025. The Authority is showcasing its services provided to the Guests of Allah — including pilgrims and Umrah performers — and presenting visitors with the latest developments in its ambulance fleet and the technologies supporting rescue and emergency operations.
Advanced Ambulance Vehicles
SRCA presented its four-wheel-drive ambulance vehicles equipped with the latest technical specifications, fully integrated with the Authority’s command, control, and medical dispatch systems. These vehicles are directly linked to the operational network, enabling faster response times and high-efficiency service delivery.
The Authority also unveiled the inclusion of the Spider motorcycle into its fleet, designed for rapid access to emergency cases, particularly in high-traffic areas. The bike is equipped with advanced medical devices, compact oxygen cylinders, cervical collars, limb splints, and essential medical supplies to handle emergencies such as asthma attacks, cardiac incidents, and diabetic episodes.
“Tamiya” Amphibious Vehicle
SRCA also introduced the Tamiya amphibious vehicle — the first of its kind in the Middle East. This vehicle is capable of navigating rugged terrain such as mountains, plains, and even waterlogged or muddy areas, making it ideal for evacuating emergency cases and performing rescue missions.
Key features include:
Capacity for two patients and six additional personnel
Operational endurance of up to 19 continuous hours
Standby mode capability exceeding 65 hours
Equipped with warning lights for nighttime operations
“Rufaida” Mobile Field Training Unit
The SRCA pavilion also featured the Rufaida mobile field training unit — a modern ambulance vehicle fitted with internal cameras and external display screens showing real-time emergency procedures inside the unit. It allows hands-on training for staff and serves as an educational tool to present medical awareness and first aid guidance to visitors.
Enhancing Emergency Response
The Authority also showcased its provision of first aid services during the exhibition, with trained medical teams and volunteers on-site to ensure the safety of visitors and respond to any emergencies that may occur throughout the event.
SRCA’s participation in the exhibition reflects its ongoing commitment to advancing its emergency services and technologies for serving the Guests of Allah, while continuing to strengthen its capabilities in delivering rapid and efficient emergency care.
