The Saudi Red Crescent Authority (SRCA) in Al-Baha Region has launched the implementation of the “Moa'ath” project, which aims to strengthen emergency preparedness in the workplaces of government entities. The Moa'ath team will serve as the primary support for the targeted entities in ensuring a high level of confidence in emergency safety.
This will be achieved through training staff on basic first aid skills and deploying automated external defibrillators (AEDs) for cases of cardiac and respiratory arrest within the facility, as well as facilitating ambulance teams’ access to the patient’s location.
The project also includes designating dedicated ambulance parking areas at the facility upon request and installing directional signage to ease access to these services during emergencies.
The project seeks to achieve its intended goals by training government employees on essential first aid skills, such as CPR, handling choking cases, bleeding, and proper use of the AED device — all to promote a culture of medical safety in government work environments.
The “Moa'ath” project represents an important step toward enhancing the ability of government institutions to respond to emergencies, ensuring quick and effective interventions that protect lives and safeguard public health.
