


The Saudi Red Crescent Authority in Al-Baha Region raised its readiness today, Saturday, January 11, 2025, to confront the weather changes and rainy conditions affecting the region. The Director General of the Authority’s branch in Al-Baha, Sultan Saad Al-Malki, confirmed that the command and control room, ambulance centers, and volunteer teams are operating at the highest levels of readiness according to the emergency plan.
The plan included raising preparedness in 16 ambulance centers, with the deployment of 16 ambulance teams and 3 rapid response teams, equipped with specialized crews of paramedics, emergency medical technicians, and emergency medicine specialists.
The Authority urged citizens and residents to exercise caution and adhere to safety rules, especially during rainfall, to avoid dangerous areas and to keep the way clear for ambulance teams to ensure rapid response. It also confirmed the availability of the emergency number “997” and the “Es’afni” (Help Me) app to serve those in need around the clock.
